Once the scale is set, you may want to display it on your image.

Just use the "Scale Bar" tool. You will be prompted to specify some options :

 the "width of the line". This is actually the length of the line used for the Scale Bar. It is provided in units of the Scale.

 the "height in pixels". This will set the width of the Scale Bar

 the Font Size, Color of the text (displaying the length of the line - you may choose to "Hide Text")

 the Background (the color of the rectangle that covers the Scale Bar and the text)

 the Location of the Scale Bar

 

Be careful, once displayed, the Scale Bar cannot be removed. If you click again on "Scale Bar", a second bar appears...
