This menu contains the standard function for editing :

  cut, copy, paste; they may be used to create a new image

You can paste an image only into another image of the same type.

The editing function Crop is useful, and not as usual.

 

Other usual editing tools are :  Clear ; Capture Screen ; Repeat Command.
